Well, SCCS won't participate. One 12 hour race on saturday and then there's a 4 hour IGTC race the day after. 12+4 hours under one holiday is just too much for us.

Good luck to those who will participate anyway. Hopefully this race will be broadcasted so I/we can watch it at least.

Hm, maybe I saw wrong but 24/4 is a friday. Isn't it a bit dumb to place a 12 hour long race on a friday? You know, people have work, and after work many are too tired to drive, etc etc.

I've checked with the team I'm part of and from the sound of it we're interested in participating, but I'm not so sure that we can participate on that day.

Hopefully I saw wrong in the first place, so 24/4 isn't a friday at all.

Uhm, the fraps logo is disturbing imo. You should remove that, either by getting the full version of fraps or by cropping the window. Try to sync the clips to the music as well as lowering the FOV. Also there's some shots with low fps, fix that too. Other than those things it's a decent vid me thinks.

I drove an endurance race (6 hours) on FE Black with the GTR class 31/1, and it was great fun, I'd love to do that again.

I hate to be a pain somewhere but do you have any idea how big uncompressed files from fraps are? It will take ages, and I mean ages, to send you all those files captured from that replay.

I suggest that you use fraps on your laptop, record at .250 and increase the fps in vdub or something instead.

Decent video overall. I find that you sometimes use a little to much FOV for my taste, but it looks like you used a little less this time. Just work on the focus a bit and you'll be doing really good.

I'm using XviD MPEG-4 codec to render the youtube version of the movie. I always had this problem it seems, never figured it out.

Ah, I would've contacted you about this if I knew you had that kind of material. I will keep this in mind if I decide to do more vids from IGTC.

Yea, about that.. I don't know why the aspect ratio looks like that. I've read on youtube that movies should be 1280x720, 16:9 and a bitrate at over 3000kbps to get the best quality, so that's how I'm rendering it. 1280x720, 9000kbps, 16:9 and yet the cars look squished. Oh well, the MQ version available for download is rendered with another codec and the aspect ratio in that file is fine when watched in VLC. :]
